MP of the Kurdistan alliance, Mr. Khalil confirmed that the including the budget in the parliament's agenda and read it without a consensus between all the blocs will create new crises.
In an interview to the press, he stated, "The budget in its current form has a lot of errors and problems. And trying to pass in this version comes for election propaganda at the expense of the rights of the people." He further added, "The Kurdistan Alliance will not attend any session includes the budget because of the failure to ensure the rights of the Kurds.”
He also said, "The Kurdistan Alliance has plenty of options in the event of continue reading the budget and pass it in the absence of political consensus, because the dialogue is the best way to solve problems, not ignoring a particular party in order to achieve factional interests and narrow partisan demands at the expense of the Iraqi people."
The House of Representatives has ended yesterday, the first reading of the federal budget for 2014 in the absence of the Kurdish forces are Muttahidoon, while the budget was not included in the agenda of the meeting of the Council of Representatives today.
