Baghdad (Forat) –The Citizen bloc released a five-point initiative to settle the oil crisis between the Central Government and Kurdistan region.
The head of the Citizen bloc, Baqir Jabur al-Zubaidi, stated in a press conference "Every year the disputes over the Budget erupt over the oil exports where it is necessary to settle the crisis and avoid its repetition in the next years."
"The Citizen bloc releases a five-point initiative to settle this crisis where it suggests to set meters in the oil tanks to know the amount of the oil produced and at the same time to set other meters in the oil exportation points to know the exact amount of the oil produced," he added.
"The oil company SOMO is the only side that supervises the exportation process," he added, noting that "The bloc also suggests the accurate and realistic estimation of the oil exports."
"The Oil Ministry to contract with an international company to set labs to determine the ratio of the Sulfur in the Crude oil because it affects the prices of the oil and therefore helps in having a flexible price," he concluded. /End/
