Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, the Iraqi government's support for the measures taken by the Egyptian government to impose the rule of law, calling for dialogue and restraint to miss an opportunity to the enemies of Egypt and its people.

Maliki said in a statement issued by his office on Sunday: watching with deep concern the ongoing security developments in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, which claimed the lives of many of the dead and wounded in a plot aimed at undermining the will of the Egyptian people Aziz.

He added: we are in a time in which it strongly stand by the Egyptian government to impose the rule of law and the extension of civil peace and security throughout Egypt, appeal to them to exercise maximum restraint to miss an opportunity to the enemies of Egypt and its people.

Maliki called on all Egyptians to: renounce violence and come to the dialogue table to ward off temptation that wants to stand behind the Nile of Egypt's leading role, wishing the sister of Egypt's security and prosperity and rapid return to the exercise of its pivotal role in the region and the world.
