Ambassador Lukman Faily presents credentials to the U.S. State Department's ambassador to the Republic of Iraq to the United States of America
The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Washington, Mr. Lukman Faily his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary of the Republic of Iraq to the United States to Deputy U.S. Secretary of State, Mr. William Burns dated 31/05/2013.
During the credentials presentation reviewed the strong relations between Iraq and the United States and the prospects for cooperation and strengthen these relations in all fields to serve the common interests between the two countries.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the credentials of some officials and staff of the Office of Foreign Affairs of Iraq in the U.S. was followed by a reception for the ambassador and his entourage in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
