Rising production of oil at the ahdab and Wasit to 130,000 barrels per day

The Governor of Wasit Mahdi Al-Zubaidi, Tuesday, a high rate of production of Al-ahdab oil field west of Kut to 130,000 barrels a day, with drew to the company implementing project completed drilling of wells 404 170 wells in the field.

Zubaidi said in an interview for "alsumaria news", the "energy productivity of the ahdab oil field west of Kut has risen from 120,000 barrels to 130,000 barrels per day."

Zubeidi said that "Chinese company implementing project Al-ahdab oil field exploit currently 170 out of wells 404 oil wells to drill."

Environment Directorate said Wasit, in August 2, 2012, on completion of the Chinese company operating in the Al-ahdab oil wells at a rate of 113 production pump with 120,000 barrels per day, energy field of 60,000 barrels per day.

The Al-ahdab oil field is one of Iraq's untapped fields which was direct in early 2009, it is hoped that the report will be developed production capacity of 200,000 barrels per day, a field which was discovered in 1979 up measuring 225 million barrels of oil and field will feed the power plant alzbidet in alzbidet area, some 70 km north of the city of Kut.
