BAGHDAD - Today's News
held the Ministry of Finance, on Tuesday, held talks with Fitch and Rhodes international credit rating in Turkey.
The ministry statement said, had received "Today's News" a copy of it, that the aim of the meeting is "to obtain a credit rating assesses the extent of economic activity and financial Iraq during the current phase. "
The statement added that "the meeting comes to complement the consultations conducted by the Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Deputy National Security Adviser Safa el-Sheikh."
The statement said that "the meeting will contribute to obtaining financial support and access to international capital markets , and the issuance of sovereign bonds on behalf of the Government of Iraq, also helps in the development of the volume of investment through the contribution of many investors in the development of the development process. "
