Tomorrow/Baghdad: Iraq signed by the ministries of housing and finance and the Central Bank, Sunday, with the World Bank to finance the Canal dry in Iraq, confirmed that the Convention housing comes as part of a major project to develop and establish new strategic roads linking Iraq to neighbouring countries.

"The road to be carried out under this Convention, including by (his sight – Safwan) and road (Nazareth – AGA) and road (Nazareth – Samawa-bureaucracy)", adding that the Ministry had forwarded the draft rehabilitation project Expressway portion (Baghdad-resolved-bureaucracy) within the Ministry of investment budget allocated by the State. "

Al-Darraji said that "road project (Baghdad-hit-post and UFC) that connects Baghdad with Jordan and Syria negotiations on financing by the IDB to be full-fledged international highway from Basra to the international border between Iraq and Syria and Jordan," pointing out that "there are 21 station weight established by the Ministry is currently working on a number of southern provinces, with work for fifty-four other stations in the city have remained a total of 75".

The Minister said the financial net debt Agency SAFA "the project is important and ambitious projects for the development of trade and transport in Iraq and would benefit large Iraqi and international trade", praising the role of the Ministry of construction and housing in its road sector development in Iraq. "

The representative of the World Bank, said Fred belhadj, that "this agreement reflects the relationship between the World Bank and Iraq and will be part of wider which will finance other projects which we shall support this relationship based on trust", stressing the importance of "place Iraq strategy in the region and the world."
