BAGHDAD / obelisk: Deputy Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, George W. Posten support of the General Assembly of the United Nations for all initiatives aimed at consolidating the principles of civil peace in Iraq.

And pointed Posten during his speech at the national conference of political leaders today that “the initiatives of honor and civil peace signed by political leaders at the conference will contribute actively to reduce violence gripping the country during the current period as a clear signal to heal reunion political situation in Iraq.”

And counting Posten document “explicitly addressed to outsmart the challenges that prevent the elimination of violence which is now threatened in the interest of Iraq and its people through the pursuit of armed groups to play the sectarian and fueling strife between the sons of one homeland leads to return to the cases of fighting civil witnessed in the country during the previous periods, and this is what enjoined to find quick and effective solutions to prevent re such a manifestation into the arena. “

And expressed Posten satisfaction of the United Nations for “signature initiative of honor, which is a courageous step towards achieving security in Iraq through the end all outstanding differences between the components of the political process and to achieve the necessary balance to run the country as well as being an important pillar aims to limit the arms, however, security forces only” .

And Boston called on all political blocs to “abide by the terms and document honor being the foundation stone for the success of political action in Iraq, through the adoption of standards in the conduct of national partnership things the country and the people as well as the national interest at all partisan interests and narrow sectarianism.”
