Judicial expert calls for prosecutors to move immediately to follow up on the issue of "corruption in the Russian arms deal"

BAGHDAD / With: student judicial expert and former MP Wael Abdul Latif, prosecutors move to investigate and check the circumstances of corruption in the Russian arms deal, saying it was within his powers.
The judge said Abdul Latif told the future on Saturday evening: "Iraqi public prosecutor representing the social body is within his powers to follow up and check all the cases received by the suspicions and violation of the law."
Abdul Latif added that "by virtue of a prosecutor for the social and because the social body is the owner of public money, a source of authority, he must move to investigate and accountability about what to put on the scene of corruption and suspicions in the Russian arms deal."
And Abdel-Latif said that "prosecutors can investigate and move in all directions and opening suspicious files being have sufficient powers."
The judge called that "takes prosecutor Dora pursue all incoming and moiety and play a bigger role than the current routine role."
Abdul Latif criticized "the stalemate in the executive, legislative and independent bodies on the integrity and the elimination of non-interference and uncover the circumstances of the case and bring those involved to justice and removed from office."
And was an adviser to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has revealed that the latter decided to reconsider arms deals with Russia and the Czech Republic before they knew parliamentarians detail.
Moussawi said in a press statement that "Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki made the decision to reconsider deals weapons that were recently with Russia and the Czech Republic," adding that "al-Maliki after learning the circumstances of the transaction instructed immediately reviewed by before I knew or talk some members of the House of Representatives detail later" .
