Jaafary, Khuzayi confirms strengthening relations among national Iraqi sides

Baghdad (AIN) –The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, and the Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, confirmed the importance of strengthening relations among all the various national Iraqi sides.
A statement by Jaafary's office received by AIN cited "Jaafary received Khuzayi at his office in Baghdad on last Thursday evening," noting that "Khuzayi talked about the Iraqi participation and the meetings held at the margin of the 67th session of the United Nations General Assembly."
"Both sides discussed the file of the Iraqi regional relations as they stressed the necessity of the Iraqi role in sustaining stability in the region and to avoid tensed atmosphere," the statement added.
"The two sides have also reviewed the political updates in Iraq," the statement concluded.
