Baghdad (AIN) –The President, Jalal Talabani, and a number of officers of Baghdad Operations Command discussed readiness of the Iraqi Security Forces.
A Presidential statement received by AIN cited "Talabani received the prominent officers of BOC at his office on Wednesday," noting that "They discussed the development of the ISF in the fight, armament and the training levels."
"Talabani praised the achievements accomplished by the ISF confirming the importance of consolidating the security successes in confronting the terrorism and crime," the statement added.
"Talabani stressed that confronting the terrorism is an interchangeable process with other cultural, political and economic aspects," the statement concluded.
