Maliki Atibt important files on his visit to Iran

Babinaoz (Reuters) - begins Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Sunday (April 22) visit to Iran for talks with officials in Tehran on issues of mutual interest. Prime Minister is accompanied on his visit a large delegation comprising a number of ministers, experts and advisers.

Associated with Iraq and Iran has close ties in various fields. It is known that Iran has hosted many of the current Iraqi political leaders when they left Iraq to escape the prosecutions of the former regime. and set up in Iran during their long years in opposition before returning to Iraq after the U.S. invasion in 2003.

Despite the agreement the two governments, inter regional issues, the files are also a complex between the two neighboring countries, particularly with regard to the fields of joint oil and water issues and the demarcation of the border. The media adviser to Prime Minister Ali al-Moussawi said al-Maliki will discuss issues of trade and industry, energy, and certainly the issue of water, but noted the absence of the Minister of oil.

Member of Parliament for the Iraqi List, Nabil Hrbo said Maliki's visit to Iran comes at the right time because of the pending issues between Iraq and Iran on the one hand and relations problem between Iran and the countries of the region such as Turkey and the Gulf and expressed the hope that contributing to visit to find solutions to these problems and to serve the interests of the Iraqi people.

noted Rep. from the Kurdistan Alliance, Mahmoud Othman, said officials who visits abroad and come back but did not know the legislature something about their agendas and their results. analyst is confident Hashemi stressed the timing of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to visit Iran in connection with developments in the region as well as binary files. Al-Maliki visited Iran last time in October of 2010 before taking over as prime minister for a second.
