Obama and Biden call for Barzani to continue to participate in the political process under the umbrella of the Constitution

{Baghdad} Euphrates News U.S. President Barack Obama's regional president Massoud Barzani to participate continuously in the political process under the umbrella of the Iraqi Constitution.
The White House statement said: "President Barack Obama joined the meeting at the White House between U.S. Vice President Biden and President of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Massoud Barzani."
And stressed, "Obama and Vice President Biden on the U.S. commitment to our relationship with the historical document and Kurdistan and the Kurdish people within the framework of our strategic partnership with a unified democratic federal Iraq."
The statement said that "Obama and Vice President Biden Barzani encouraged to participate continuously in the Iraqi political process under the umbrella of the Iraqi constitution."
The Vice President Joe Biden had hosted earlier in the meeting Barzani and his accompanying delegation on a working luncheon the two leaders discussed, during which a number of issues relating to Iraq and the region and the steps planned by the United States be taken to expand the scope of services provided by the U.S. consulate in Erbil.
They also expressed their support for the ongoing high-level consultations between U.S. officials and representatives of the Kurdistan Regional Government. Ended
