BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Minister for Parliament Affairs Safa' Al-deen al-Safi delivered President Jalal Talabani's invitation to Sudanese President Omar al-Basheer to attend the coming Arab Summit due in Baghdad at the end of next month.
In press statement, reported by Sudan TV station, Sudan foreign minister stressed that President Basheer called for the unity of Iraq, hoping further development of relations between the two countries.
Earlier today Aswat al-Iraq reported that an invitation had also been sent to Moroccan King Mohammed VI.
