BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq:Ahrar parliamentary bloc chairman Baha' al-Araji stressed today that his call to dissolve the parliament and renew the elections are his pers26onal opinion, not his bloc.

Araji told Aswat al-Iraq confirmed this point, at a time he stated, earlier, for dissolving the parliament , due to the critical political chaos prevailing in the country.

Iraqi political arena is witnessing political and security tensions, due to the demand of the provinces to be changed to regions, including Salahuddin, Diala and Anbar provinces in protest for governmental negligence.

Added to all these demands, the arrest warrant issued against vice-premier Tariq al-Hashimi which came at a time of political conflicts between the two major blocs, the State of Law and Iraqiya bloc.

Iraqiya bloc leader Iyad Alawi suspended the participation of the bloc in the parliament in protest to "unilateral rule of premier Nouri al-Maliki".
