Al-Rafidain: Opening bank accounts without being restricted by geographical area

Today, Monday, Rafidain Bank announced the opening of bank accounts without being restricted by the geographical area and the customer’s location.
The bank stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that
“in accordance with the directives of the Central Bank of Iraq to support financial inclusion and simplify procedures,
Al-Rafidain Bank directed its branches spread in Baghdad and the governorates to facilitate procedures for opening current, savings, and deposit accounts.” He added,
"We have instructed all bank branches to simplify and complete customer transactions for opening bank accounts without being restricted by the geographical area and location of the customer, taking into account the applicable legal contexts related to the controls and conditions for opening an account in the service of the public interest."
