Met with His Excellency the Minister of Planning Dr. Yusuf Ali Shukri and Permanent Representative of Iraq to the United Nations Office in Geneva Ambassador Mohammed Ali Hakim, Mr. Francis Gurry Director General of the World Organization of Intellectual Property in the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, on Thursday, 8/12/2011, on the sidelines of the meetings of the seventeenth session of the meetings of the Standing Committee on the Law of Patents, has been during the meeting to exchange views between the parties with respect to activating the role and work of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Iraq, and His Excellency the Minister to Iraq's desire to develop this relationship through the training of Iraqi staff by conducting training sessions at the headquarters of the Organization in Geneva or by sending experts to Iraq.
