Today, Monday, the Ministry of Finance organized a workshop (Development of Public Religion Management) in coordination with the World Bank.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (conscious), that
"by directing and following up the Minister of Finance Ali Abdul Amir Allawi, the Ministry of Finance held today, Monday, June 13, 2022, a workshop development workshop for the work of the Public Religion and Religion Department according to modern international standards,
in cooperation with the bank The international,
with the participation of a group of specialists and experts in the aspects of public debt management.
She added that "during which opinions and views related to the tasks and priorities of the religion administration in Iraq were exchanged, and the
strength and weaknesses of the strength and weakness of the level of performance were diagnosed with a perfect and durable level of performance, consistent with international quality standards and requirements."
She continued, "The workshop comes within the framework of a joint action plan with the Reform, Recovery and Reconstruction of Iraq,
funded by donor countries over the next two years, as
the workshop is considered one of the first fruits of the efforts to advance the management of the Public Religion Department,
and a nucleus of constructive cooperation between the Iraqi Ministry of Finance and the bank The international in the field of developing the institutional structure and legal frameworks,
as well as refining skills and experiences for workers in religion management, and achieving high levels of efficiency, performance and transparency.
And she indicated: "The workshop also discussed the side of the
potential risk management with the issue of public debt, both internal and external, as well as the
management of sovereign guarantees and
submitting the level of reports submitted related to the work of the Ministry of Finance, and
measuring its quality to be able to strengthen the pillars of the Iraqi economy and possess real boundaries to confront financial and economic shocks."
She pointed out that "the process of developing the public debt strategy comes in the priority of the reform plan (white paper), and within the framework of the continuous commitment of the Ministry of Finance to develop the rational management of financial resources and enhance sustainable and balanced development."
