12.01.2011 | (Voice of Iraq) - Add comments - press statement said Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki that the complete withdrawal of foreign forces from all Iraqi territory in accordance with schedules agreed between Iraq and the United States of America, is a historic victory at the option of negotiations which we have adopted in the difficult and sensitive period of Iraq's modern history in dealing with the issue of the presence of foreign troops. The sovereignty in his speech today at a ceremony marking the "Day of performance" that the withdrawal of U.S. forces will establish a new phase in the relationship between Iraq and the United States of America where the strategic framework agreement, the cornerstone of bilateral relations between the two countries, which will include aspects of political, economic, commercial, cultural and scientific so as to push bilateral ties to greater cooperation and understanding in the next phase, which we believe firmly that it will be balanced and equal between two sovereign, on the basis of common interests. He said the Prime Minister today, the full withdrawal, which was just talking about it years ago, a kind of impossible, but Iraq and as his time of distress rose vigorously sons strongly and quickly exceeded expectations and confident of their capabilities, potential and will hard for his children and the love of Iraqis to their homeland, and will not be long until it turns Iraq to the country's active role in the process of construction, reconstruction and development and an attractive economic and investment large, a factor of stability and peace in its regional and international community. He's sovereignty, we at this auspicious occasion we extend our hands to all brotherly and friendly countries, especially neighboring countries, and invite them to establish better relations on the basis of good neighborliness and respect mutual non-interference and resolve outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means, and to strengthen cooperation in all fields that serve the common interests of all. He called Mr. Prime Minister, all political forces and religious scholars and tribal elders, intellectuals, artists, journalists and civil society organizations because the stand along with security forces in this critical phase through which Iraq, and give them all kinds of support and assistance, and stay away from anything that would lead to a weakening military establishment that proved their loyalty to the homeland is no longer a tool of party or sect or person. and renewed sovereignty call for the Iraqi people all need to maintain this achievement of national unity and rejection of differences for the safety of the nation and the unity and territorial integrity.
