Baghdad (newsletter). See Economic Committee member and Deputy/Kurdistan Alliance/mohama Khalil political problems which occur in Syria will negatively affect trade between Iraq and Syria.
Khalil said in a statement to a reporter (News Agency news) Monday: political problems in Syria now would affect directly and indirectly on trade relations between Iraq and Syria that most Iraqi oil exports and goods passing through Syrian territory which will affect the transportation and movement of shipping and land cargo.
He noted: the Syrian ports now disabled and trade between Iraq and Syria are currently a few as well as Iraqi traders scroll their Syrian abralaradi as a result of low taxes and fees taken them on Syrian territory and this would adversely affect the trade exchanges between the two countries.
He is a member of the parliamentary Economic Committee: many countries near Mediterranean issued its cargo to Iraq via Syrian territory and when you see that there are security problems and political escalation in the region should abstain from sending their cargo through Syrian territory for the purpose of delivery to Iraq.
