Twilight News / Oil prices rose on Friday and has been moving in a narrow range as investors focused on talks aimed at avoiding failure of Greece on its debt.
And it increased the price of Brent blend crude futures August delivery 40 cents to $ 63.60 a barrel by 0543 GMT, after it ended the previous session down 29 cents, or 0.5 percent.
US crude price in August contracts for 12 cents to $ 59.82 a barrel after the session ended on Thursday, down 57 cents, or about one percent.
It is scheduled to meet euro zone finance ministers on Saturday in a last-ditch attempt to reach an agreement with Greece to avoid default Athens for debt repayment and exit from the euro zone.
The US crude fell 12 cents at the beginning of Asian trading before turning to climb later in the session.
Said Rick Spooner, senior market analyst at CMC Markets in Sydney said the US crude oil prices found support Friday in rising consumer spending in the United States in May, the biggest increase in nearly six years, according to the data shown by the US government.
