Iraqi Parliament Speaker met Dr. Salim al Sunday Turkish Ahmet Davutoglu Mr. Prime Minister, and during the meeting reviewed a number of security, political and economic issues of mutual interest. The two sides discussed in a lengthy meeting the most important challenges that threaten regional security and of terrorism and the ongoing violence in Iraq and Syria and ways to coordinate efforts among all countries in the region to counter it. President al-Jubouri and stressed Iraq's desire to build better relations with neighboring Turkey, based on the principles of good neighborliness and mutual cooperation between the two countries, at the same time praising the great role played by Turkey in relief Iraqis and Syrians displaced Eradha. For his part, Turkish Prime Minister welcomed the visit, hoping to be the starting point for a new phase of coordination and cooperation between the two neighboring countries, stressing that the historical common denominators and fabric will remain a catalyst to strengthen and develop the relationship between the two countries.
