Mutlaq, Japan's Ambassador discuss services, economic, political issues

Baghdad (NINA) – Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq, discussed on Monday, Oct. 7, with the Ambassador of Japan to Iraq, Massato Taka Waka, means to develop the relations between Iraq and Japan in the fields of services, economics and politics.

A statement issued by the Deputy Prime Minister's Office said that during the meeting, the two discussed a number of services, economic and political issues between Baghdad and Tokyo that would benefit the people of both countries and open new horizons of cooperation.

It added that they stressed the importance for Japanese firms to start executing the services projects and rehabilitate infra structure, as well as expand investment opportunities to bring more youth into work.

For his part, Ambassador Massato Taka Waka expressed thanks to Mutlaq, wishing for the Iraqi people security, peace and progress. / End.
