Peshmerga Ministry announced today the launch of its air defenses fired on an Iraqi army plane in the province of Kirkuk.
Said Undersecretary Anwar Haji Osman in an interview for "Now News", "Our air launched, today, opened fire on an Iraqi aircraft flew more than once in the Sikanaan, within the province of Kirkuk," noting that "the Iraqi plane was forced to withdraw after shooting "
He guessed Osman said that "the mission of this aircraft to spy on the Peshmerga forces deployed in those areas."
