Talabani, Chairman of Islamic Party’s Shura Council discuss political developments

Baghdad (NINA) – President Jalal Talabani discussed on Thursday, July 21, with Chairman of the Islamic Party’s Shura Council, Mohsin Abdul Hameed, the country’s political developments.
A statement issued by the President’s Office said that Talabani pointed out to efforts being exerted toward bringing political forces together into a comprehensive joint patriotic project aimed to move to a new era far from disagreements and disputes to push the political process forward.
For his part, Abdul Hameed praised Talabani’s role in bringing political groups together and build confidence between all political forces, wishing him to continue his central role to get the country to safety, the statement went on. / End.
