Press Office News: December 8, 2011 on behalf of His Excellency President Jalal Talabani, Vice President of the Republic received Mr. Tariq al-Hashemi and Dr. Khodair al-Thursday 8-12 - 2011 in the Peace Palace in Baghdad Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Nabil Arab League delegation accompanying him. At the outset of the meeting, there was a telephone call between the President and Secretary General of the League, in which he welcomed President Talabani, Mr. Arab and stressing that Iraq's full cooperation with the League of Arab States and assist them in all that would work and the success of their mission at this historical juncture sensitive .. With thanked Mr. Nabil Arab president words of welcome and support and the assignment of His Excellency the University, stressing the importance of this assistance for joint Arab action. was in the meeting which was attended by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari to confirm the Iraqi side of its willingness and commitment to the forthcoming Arab Summit in the time specified in Baghdad, It was also confirmed by the Secretary General of the League, who expressed the importance of convening the summit in time and in Baghdad. During the meeting, talk extensively about the relations between Iraq and the Arab League and the need to expand the horizons of cooperation and work on important issues facing the Arab countries and the university and the importance of making use of Iraqi expertise in this the field. It was also talk about developments in a number of Arab countries and the privacy which is within each country and the role of the Arab League in this. This is part of the meeting was attended by Heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Arab Iraq.
