Baghdad (news) .. met head of the Iraqi National Alliance Ibrahim al-Jaafari with the representative of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Naji Shalgam were reviewed the overall political situation in Iraq and throughout the region and the world.
A statement by Jaafari's office received Agency (news) copy of it on Tuesday: he stressed the need to strengthen the Arab League role in supporting Iraq as head of the current session of the University, stressing that Iraq's history and profound cultural position to play a big role and active in the restoration of the Arab region status, and contribute to the support of the security and stability of the region and the world.
He added: The national forces concerted efforts to develop practical solutions that will overcome the current crisis, and put Iraq on the path to building and progress.
