Ban warns: devastating effects of the challenges in Iraq unless it is processed

Khandan - UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that the seriousness of the political and security challenges in Iraq may have implications "devastating and permanent" stability in the country in the long term unless it is addressed "soon." Ban said in a report submitted to the Security Council that These challenges require "that meets all political and religious leaders and civil society of their responsibilities to overcome the current crisis in a unified manner, pointing out that the establishment of a national dialogue between the political forces came to be more urgent than ever." Ban said he was satisfied with the continuous improvement "in relations between Iraq and Kuwait, "and expressed the hope that this" positive development "to strengthen relations between Iraq and its other neighbors in the interest of stability in the region.
