Authority announced seismic monitoring, Sunday evening, that an earthquake of 5.7 seconds strongly on the Richter scale struck Baghdad, Diyala, Kirkuk, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.

The director of the Observatories of Foreign Affairs Abdul Karim Abdullah said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "The earthquake again struck, at 10 pm today, Baghdad, Kirkuk and Diyala, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah," noting that "the tremor strongly 5.7 on the Richter scale and the source of Qasr-e Shirin within the borders of Iran. "

Abdullah added that "Jerk is kind of average."

The four aftershocks struck at noon today, Khanaqin in Diyala province and some areas of the province of Kirkuk for the second time in hours, strongly three on the Richter scale.

The earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale hit, last Friday (November 22 now), the city of Baghdad and the provinces of Babil, Najaf, Wasit, Diwaniyah, Diyala, Kirkuk and Sulaymaniyah, the source aftershock hit areas of Qasr-e Shirin in Iran
