F-16 Delivery “on Track”

Reuters reports that the delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Iraq is “on track” for next autumn.
An American official told the news agency, on condition of anonymity, that Iraqi pilots are in training, and Iraq recently paid an installment of roughly $650 million for the jets.
Iraq signed a new contract to buy its second set of 18 F-16 fighters from the United States, part of a deal to purchase 36 of the jets.
