Barham Saleh, French Ambassador discuss political developments in Iraq, area

Baghdad (NINA) – Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Barham Saleh, discussed in Sulaimaniya, with the French Ambassador to Iraq, Denys Gauer, the political situation in Kurdistan Region and Iraq, in whole, as well as political developments in the area.
A statement issued by the PUK on Tuesday, Oct. 29, said that the two stressed the necessity to consolidate and develop the relations between Kurdistan Region and France, stressing the importance to hold elections in Iraq.
French Consul to Kurdistan Region and the accompanying delegation attended the meeting. / End.
