Announced the Electoral Commission, on Sunday, ratification of the election results provinces of Anbar and Nineveh, showed that the judiciary in Mufodahhsmt all appeals filed on the result of the elections in the two provinces.

The Commission spokesman said Safaa al-Moussawi said in an interview to the (Presse term), said that "the judiciary in the Electoral Commission ratified the results of the local elections in the provinces of Anbar and Nineveh."

Moussawi said that "the judiciary of the elections resolved all appeals filed on the election of both houses of the provinces of Nineveh and Anbar," noting that "The Commission will send invitations to the two provinces for the purpose of holding sessions of both houses."

Officials in Anbar carried, on Monday (15 July 2013), the Electoral Commission responsible for "injury to maintain paralyzed" because of the delay in the announcement of final results for the local elections to maintain, while expressed list of conservative outgoing "confidence" formation of the new government and win the post of governor , a political analyst predicted that the result of conflicts between the winners to the formation of a local government "incomplete" and take the head council as acting governor.

The Electoral Commission for elections, announced in the (20 June 2013), that the approximate percentage of participation in the Nineveh provincial council elections amounted to about 37.5% and 49.5% Anbar.

And postponed the election of Nineveh and Anbar (the April 20, 2013) to (20 June 2013), because of "the deteriorating security situation in the two provinces also justified the government, but observers contend that the situation in Mosul now is much worse than in March and April as witnessing clashes almost daily between army troops and federal police and gunmen since the Iraqi army forces stormed the yard sit Haweeja, (55 km southwest of Kirkuk), (23 April 2013).
