Sabah Prime lightning visit to Baghdad today signed six cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two sides, following official talks by His Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Prime Minister with his Prime Minister brother Republic of Iraq Nouri Kamel al-Maliki at the Presidential Palace in the capital Baghdad on an official visit.
And Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on the Kuwaiti side of a memorandum of understanding between the Saud Nasser Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti diplomat and foreign service Institute and its impact on the Iraqi side, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari also signed by immortal on an operational programme in respect of culture.
[ltr]The two sides agreed on the conclusion of the agreement signed by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Iraqi Environment Minister Sargon Lazar õáíæå áçòçñ, in addition to the Convention in the field of higher education and scientific research signed by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Minister of higher education and scientific research of the Iraqi man.[/ltr]
In the area of air transport services, the two sides signed the Convention by Transport Minister Eng. Salem justinpogi and Iraqi Transport Minister Hadi al Amri.
The two sides also signed an agreement on economic and technical cooperation with the Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mustafa al-Shamali signed on the Iraqi side, Minister of planning, Minister of finance, Agency for El shukrijumah.
The outstanding files
[ltr]And his Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Prime Minister stressed that there is the leadership of Kuwait and Iraq to update and complete the remaining files stuck between the two fraternal countries through consensus and understanding that established by the historic visit of his Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and his Arabic Summit held in Baghdad last year.[/ltr]
This came in a statement to his arrival and his Entourage to Baghdad today on a brief official visit to the Republic of Iraq.
He was greeted upon his arrival and his delegation at Baghdad international airport, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq brother Nouri Kamel al-Maliki and other senior Iraqi almso'o'lin and Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the brotherly Republic of Iraq retired Lt. Gen. Ali Mohammed Hassan.
It was for his official reception upon his arrival at Baghdad international airport where the national anthem played during the State of Kuwait and the Republic of the Republic of Iraq peace.
[ltr]Sheikh Mohammed said in a statement upon his arrival that his visit to Baghdad at the invitation of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is a good opportunity to communicate with Iraqi officials and discuss with his brother on all counts of the two countries and will contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and expand cooperation to cover different areas.[/ltr]
He added that his visit is a reflection of the great development of the Kuwaiti-Iraqi relations over the past years and the joint efforts of both sides to strengthen these relations and strengthen for the benefit and interest of the two brotherly peoples.
He said there was interest from the leadership of the two countries on the updating and completion and delivery of the remaining files stuck between the two fraternal countries through consensus and understanding that established by the historic visit of his Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and his Arabic Summit held in Baghdad last year.
[ltr]Sheikh Mohammed expressed his wishes that stability in Iraq so enjoy people's prosperity and progress and regain its role in the nation's Arabic service.[/ltr]
At the end of the visit through his thanks and appreciation for him and his Entourage from the hospitality extended by their brothers in Iraq during the visit.
He met his Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama Al-nujaifi.
It was in the introduction to his applicants to Baghdad international airport, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and a number of Government Ministers and senior Iraqi officials and the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait when Iraq Panel corner retired the believer and the Embassy staff.

The joint statement

This, and the two countries issued a joint statement at the end of the visit, praised the atmosphere of the talks, saying it reflected the level of development in bilateral relations, and welcomed the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding.

The States of Kuwait and Iraq said it will inform the Secretary General of the United Nations that Iraq had implemented UN obligations to the State of Kuwait in preparation for his exit from Chapter VII.
This came in a joint news conference, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.
[ltr]He said Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said the two countries had signed a recent Zebari Kuwait bilateral agreements on maintenance of the boundary markers pointing out that "the two delegates this together to meet United Nations Secretary General to submit this agreement and deposited the United Nations».[/ltr]
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid said that the visit to Iraq «complements of high-level visits between officials of the two countries since last year and the first half of this year, he said '' We will be very happy to exit Iraq from Chapter VII for a fundamental pillar in the growth and prosperity of the region, which has suffered a lot.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid said "we agreed to transfer responsibility for the well-being of the understandings of prisoners and missing persons and Kuwaiti archives of special representative under item VII to the responsibility of the United Nations Mission under item VI and this has been communicated to the Secretary-General of the United Nations».
[ltr]«Stressed that the Secretary General submitted his mid this month to the Security Council to be debated later this month in Iraq and in its obligations to the seventh item, pointing out that "this visit opens new prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of popular and cultural cooperation» stressing the desire of Kuwait to strengthen the relationship between the two countries and support all the necessary ingredients.[/ltr]

Genuine partnership
