Mr. Hakim attend the World Economic Forum in Jordan

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} co-head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Ammar al-Hakim at the World Economic Forum in Davos {} which was held on the shores of the Dead Sea in Jordan with the participation of more than {900} personal global, regional and Arab countries.

It is noteworthy that the World Economic Forum, which was founded in 1971, is an independent international organization, non-profit, involving business leaders and thought, politics and economics in order to improve the situation in the world.

He said the head of the citizen's parliamentary Bayan Jabr, who was accompanied by Mr. Ammar al-Hakim in the forum, told {Euphrates News} on Saturday that "Mr. Hakim received a special invitation by those on the forum Baattabah political figure distinct in Iraq," noting "the importance of participating in such Thus international fora. Participants representing more than {23} state from around the world, and more than {40} global company in the fields of investment banking, energy, technology, infrastructure and consulting, and some of the prestigious universities in the world.

The work of the Forum include {34} session over the course of three days, as well as other parallel activities are in partnership with others.

It also includes work of the Forum Third Session of the King Abdullah II Award for Youth Innovation and Achievement, launched by His Majesty during the World Economic Forum in 2007, in order to enable and support the Arab youth aged between {18} and {30} years of each gender of entrepreneurs who have devised solutions creative to meet the pressing challenges faced by their communities to the environmental, economic and social development.

Jordan hosts the Forum, in partnership and cooperation with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, where Jordan is one of the most countries in the Middle East to host the meetings of the forum, in an effort to highlight Jordan as a stable investment destination, attracting projects for generating employment opportunities for Jordanians.

And provides a forum, a platform intellectually and media important issues of economic and political development, as issued by the Group of reports and indicators in the areas of performance measurement and competitiveness, and organizes the World Economic Forum series of regional meetings specialized, such as the meeting of the Middle East, and other meetings of the countries of East Asia and Latin America.
