Kobler warns that Iraq might slip into the unknown if situation remains
17/05/2013 22:03:00
Baghdad (NINA) - The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq, Martin Kobler, warned Iraq's leaders from slipping into an unknow and dangerous situation, unless they do something, calling on the to exert their utmost to protect Iraqi civilians.

A statement issued on Friday, May 17, by the UN Mission in Iraq, quoted Kobler saying that the responsibility for sparing the Iraqis' blood and protecting citizens falls on all of the country's leaders; he pointed out that children are being burned alive inside cars and worshipers are being cut into pieces outside mosques; this is beyond being accepted.

Kobler called on the politicians to move immediately toward dialogue to solve the political crisis and put an end to this situation.
