Sadr Trend calls parliament to hold emergency session

Baghdad (AIN) -The Political Office of the Sadr Trend called the parliament to hold emergency session to discuss the security situation on background of the recent bombings witnessed by the capital, Baghdad.

A number of the Sadr Trend's political office's members and the Sadr bloc MPs recited a statement during a press conference on Thursday "Like always, Baghdad witnessed a new surge of violence which led to dozens of deaths while many others are left wounded. The security scene grew very disappointing and indicates the government and the security forces' inability to run the security file and protect the people's lives."
