Iraq participates in International Parliamentary Union in Ecuador

Baghdad (AIN) -Iraq participated by a delegation chaired by the head of the parliament Foreign Affairs, Humam Hamoudi in the 128th round of the International Parliamentary Union in Ecuador.
A statement by Hamoudi's office cited "Under an invitation of Ecuador Parliament's Speaker, the International Parliamentary Union, 128th round was inaugurated in presence of the President of Ecuador and the head of the IPU, UN Secretary General's representative, besides other leading figures."
"Iraq participated in the conference by a delegation headed by Hamoudi comprising a number of MPs," the statement added.
"Iraq will present an urgent file which centers on supporting the peaceful efforts for the democratic modifications for the people and how to find peaceful compromises and confronting terrorisms," the statement concluded.
