Rekabi expects Parliament to endorse budget of 2013

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -Member of the Economic and Investment Parliamentary Committee, MP Ibraheem al-Rekabi, emphasized that “The Iraqi Government should submit final statements of 2012 and previous years to the Parliament,” pointing out that ”The parliament will endorse the budget of 2012 even with lack of Final Statments of 2012.”

He added in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Sunday ”The endorsement of the federal budget of 2013 should be combined by the final statement to identify the distributions of the budget among state institutions.”

He assured ”The delay of the endorsement of the federal budget will hinder living conditions of citizens since the salaries of the employees will be postponed,” stressing that ”The law of the federal budget should be endorsed as soon as possible before the end of 2012.” \
