Allawi, Shaways discuss political situation

Baghdad (NINA) – Leader of Iraqiya Slate, Iyad Allawi, discussed with Deputy Prime Minister, Rowsch Shaways, the political situation.
A statement issued on Thursday, July 21, by the Deputy Prime Minister’s office said that the two agreed on working toward bringing points of view of various political components close together to get out of current tense situation and to push the political process forward.
The two touched on the issue of the Strategic Policies Council and the necessity to finalize all agreements reached within Barazani’s initiative, which all political forces agreed on.
Leader of Iraqiya’s Parliamentary bloc, Salman al-Jumaili, and law maker Adnan al-Janabi, attended the meeting. / End.
