Baghdad (news) .. Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, told reporters in the wake of his talks in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said on Wednesday that Russia and Iraq have agreed that the settlement of the situation in Syria should take place without any external interference.
Maliki said: ready to do everything possible to ensure the success of the mission of the Special Envoy of the United Nations and the Arab League to Syria, and that must be represented in finding a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis.

Maliki said: he had agreed with Putin during the talks that he must make every possible effort for the democratic development of the region and not to allow Macs inflammatory and external interference in the affairs of the region, and to avoid military scenarios to resolve the issues.

The Prime Minister: thanked Russia for its willingness to assist Iraq in question to pull the country out from under the effect of Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, stressing that his country has implemented all its commitments.

For his part, Putin expressed the delight of the match or convergence of views Russian and Iraqi forces on a lot of issues, noting: that during his talks with al-Maliki to exchange views on international and regional issues of pressing.
