Erbil, July 30 (Rn) - The source of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources in the Kurdistan Region, today, Monday, that the number of types of vegetables and fruits that the department levied a ban on the import into the region to encourage local production, since the beginning of this year amounted to 20 species, as will be banned import of two types new vegetables and fruits to the region early next month.
According to Anwar Omar Director of the follow-up and planning at the ministry told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), that "the number of types of vegetables and fruits that were imposed and the Ministry of Agriculture, the territorial Government ban on the import to Kurdistan to encourage local production, since the beginning of this year amounted to 20 species, as will be banned import of two types new vegetables and fruits to the region early next month. "
