Baghdad (News) ...House of representatives voted at its fourth Legislative chapter of the third legislative year held Osama's House and in the presence of 175 deputies, on Tuesday, six proposals for laws with finished first and second readings of four draft laws.
The Council said in a statement received (News Agency news) on Tuesday, the Board voted on the proposal of the Act abolishing the dissolved Revolution Command Council decision No. (120) on 17 July 1998 the award medals to members of the Baath party and by the legal Committee of the resolution of discrimination between citizens to resolve the toppled Baath party.

It added: he was voting on proposed abolition Act dissolved Revolution Command Council decision No. (27) on 4/2/1992, which gives the Interior Minister authority to impose a fine for offenders in cases of detention and forfeiture of market and gold and precious materials and designed and made by the legal Committee that resolution which constitutional violation because it gives powers to the Minister of the Interior in the jurisdiction of the judiciary.

This Council concluded the first reading of the draft law on ratification of agreement on legal and judicial cooperation in criminal matters between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and by the external relations and legal committees for the purpose of close cooperation in these two areas the actor between the Governments of the two countries in line with the principles of national sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs.

It said: the Council concluded a first reading of the draft law on ratification of the Convention on the extradition of accused and convicted persons between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, submitted by the Committee of external relations and legal for closer cooperation in the transfer of sentenced persons between the two Governments in line with the principles of national sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of each other.

The statement stressed: the Board voted to deny in principle to continue reading a bill ratifying the Convention on transfer of sentenced persons between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, submitted by the external relations and legal committees for the purpose of strengthening cooperation in the transfer of sentenced persons between the two Governments in line with the principles of national sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs.

In house debate on the Convention MP Hassan Al-yasseri said the Convention lashaebh and consistent with the law and the Constitution.
MP Kazem Al-shammari felt that the law doesn't on Iraqi sovereignty being achieved through the provision of an accused person and by her authority Convention prevail over the law.
