Baghdad (AIN) -The President, Jalal Talabani, and the head of the Iraqiya Slate discussed the political crises and the means to settle them.
A presidential statement received by AIN on Tuesday cited "Talabani received Allawi and the accompanied delegation on Tuesday afternoon."
"The meeting, attended by the Speaker of Kurdistan Region, Kosrat Rasoul, was about the political disputes and how to settle them in order to achieve the best performance for the political process," the statement added.
According to the statement, Talabani stressed the necessity to "Facilitate setting the solutions for these crises and achieve a national agreement," assuring that "There should be a limitation to the disputes and reinforcement for the brotherhood relations among the political blocs."
