Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Khalid al-Asadi, of the State of Law Coalition criticized "The initiatives launched but some political sides which hurdle holding the upcoming national meeting which is called for by the President, Jalal Talabani."
Speaking to All Iraqi News Agency (AIN), he said "The current week will witness holding the meetings of the Preparatory Committee of the national meeting," noting that "The Iraqi National Alliance stressed that there is no option to discuss the pending issues other than the national meeting."
"All the political are responsible of attending the national meeting by brushing aside the partisan interests and setting the national advantage above all," he added.
"Hurdling the national meeting means hurdling the settlement of the political crisis," he stressed.
"The political blocs should discuss the essential political issues to bring about positive results for the Iraqis," he concluded. /End/
