Revealed the governor of Basra Wednesday and there is guidance from the Iraqi authorities provides for open port border between Basra and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Khalaf said Abdul Samad, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "the local government in Basra and guidance from the federal government is working to open the port border with Saudi Arab Saudi Arabia to expand the bilateral relations between the two countries. " He pointed out Abdul Samad to "the existence of a general trend by the government in Iraq to improve diplomatic relations with the countries of the world in general and neighboring countries in particular." and started relations, Iraq - Saudi Arabia during the recent period to return gradually having seen those relationships throughout the period that followed 2003, cool and clear like the relations that followed the Second Gulf War in 1990 to reverse its prosperity during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war, where Saudi Arabia was one of the most Arab states in support of Iraq in that war.
