Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki directed the Committee to Protect Iraq's assets abroad to disclose the fate of Iraqi funds estimated at 17.5 billion dollars were confiscated, seized or withdrawn from the Development Fund for Iraq since the fall of the former regime. "
