BASRA / Aswat al-Iraq: The head of Basra's Investment Commission announced that permission to build 1850 housing units was granted.
"The project will try to solve the housing crisis in the province," Khalaf al-Badran told Aswat al-Iraq.
The project will contain 1440 flats in 90 four-storey building; each one will contain four flats, and 417 villas of 250 and 350 square meters.
The cost of the project will reach to 249,7 million dollars.
The selling price is expected to reach 1000 dollars per square meter, as reported.
