Baghdad (AIN)-MP Faris al-Sinjary, of the Iraqiya Slate IS, denied any new withdrawals from the IS.

Sinjary stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) on Friday that "The reports that talked about new withdrawals by IS' members and MPs are groundless; we emphasize unity and strength of the Slate."

The recent withdrawals of some deputies were based on their own ideas and stances, he added.

"Such rumors intended to confuse the supporters of IS,” Sinjary stressed.

IS witnessed in the past days a number of withdrawals from the Accord Movement, headed by Ayad Allawi in Dhi-Qar, Najaf, Basra and Wasit provinces.
IS decided to dismiss six of its MPs for attending the Parliament session last month and violating the suspention decision of IS, those MPs are; [Ahmed al-Jibori, Mohammad Nassir al-Karbouli, Joma’a Matyoti, Abdul Rahman Lowayzi, Kamil Kareem al-Dulaimi and Qais Shather].

MP Abdul Rahman Lowayzi, one of the dismissed IS MPs, described the dismissal decision for (AIN) as a "Reckless decision, it was made without consulting Ayad Allawi," emphasizing that the "Islamic Party, within the Wasat Coalition, was behind this decision." /End/
