Migration begins distribution of (5) billion dinars to families displaced by Turkish bombing Iran

Said Undersecretary of the Ministry of Displacement and Migration Minister Salam al-Khafaji, from start to distribute the government grant approved by the Council of Ministers for the displaced families in the territory of Kurdistan by Iranian shelling of Turkey.

Khafaji said, "The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers formed a special committee under his chairmanship and membership of the Director General in the Ministry of Human Rights Ghanem Abdul Karim Ghanimi and Joan quality Ahmed, the director general in the office of president for the region to work on the distribution of grant of the Iraqi government the (5) billion dinars to displaced families, the wounded and families of the martyrs ".

And he was a field survey started from the limits of Dohuk and Erbil, and finally Sulaymaniyah and show that the number of villages had been shelled, whether of the Turkish or Iranian more than 50 villages and most of them fled to other areas where the total number (2059) family, also fell by shelling ( 19) martyrs, including women and children, and (20) injured, either physical damage is great because most of the inhabitants of border areas are farmers and animal breeders and the shelling was at harvest time, forcing them to leave their crops and their animals and so What causes them great material loss.

And on how that is the allocation of grants, Khafaji said that "every family displaced by the shelling gets two million two hundred and fifty thousand dinars, either grant the martyr are three and seven million and fifty thousand dinars, and the wounded million dinars. "

It should be noted that the government had allocated earlier (2) billion dinars, but the grant had been increased to five billion dinars after the Committee submitted a request to increase the amount because of the extensive damage suffered by the families displaced by Turkish bombing of Iran.
