The representative of the coordination framework, Thaer al-Jubouri, confirmed that
the political parties were able to resolve the region's share in the budget, the file of oil revenues, and the mechanism for its arrival in Baghdad without repeating the previous problems. Al-Jubouri told Al-Maalouma,
"The political parties have decided the issue of the region's share in the budget, and an agreement has been reached on a ratio of 12.6, as stated in the draft budget prepared by the government." He added,
"The agreement with the region was made to deposit the revenues of the oil exported through Kurdistan in Iraqi banks and under the supervision of the federal government, in order to ensure that the revenues reach Baghdad." And he indicated that
"the political parties are still continuing understandings with the region about oil and gas, especially after the region's share and oil imports have been decided, and only some understandings remain, as Al-Sudani's visit to the region came to confirm these matters and ensure that the budget is passed without objection." ended 25 n
